Roundtable discussion with experts
Following a short guided tour, a roundtable will take place with invited experts, exploring initiatives that aim to transcend patriarchal mindset. At the event, topics such as feminist art and art education with feminist approach will be discussed, as well as how the concepts featured in the exhibition appear in everyday life and in feminist philosophies.
Fembook is a collective publication, a visual glossary. It is the result of the second photobook workshop series at the Space of Opportunity, which aimed to move beyond patriarchal social perspectives and critically examine terms and phenomena relating to them. The joint photobook deals with 15 visual and textual interpretations of concepts such as work, sensibility and community.
The discussion will be conducted in Hungarian, but personal translation is possible upon request.
The exhibition has been extended until June 20, 2025 and can be visited during regular opening hours (Tuesday-Thursday 2-6 pm).
